Thanks everyone for coming to the February Ranking Battle. It was a great event, we had 307 attendees, and huge tournaments for Smash 4 with 160 attendees and a fantastic first tournament to launch Street Fighter V with 85 attendees. Here are the results

Tournaments, casual games, tips and training – CouchWarriors Ranking Battles (Ranbat) are a day long fighters festival!
At each Ranbat players can earn ranking points from participating in tournaments, with Prizes and Medals earned at the end of the year!

There is a BYOC / Sticks policy for the event. Our friendly players will often loan a controller, but we ask you to please bring your own! Also, while we should have enough equipment to run the tournaments, everyone will appreciate anybody who can bring setups for casuals and DIYs.

CouchWarriors is proud to announce Battle Arena Melbourne 7 is an official qualifier for the inaugural MORTAL KOMBAT X™ ASIA PACIFIC CHAMPIONSHIPS 2015
The Top placing Australian or New Zealand player will receive a flight to Bangkok, Thailand, and Qualify directly into the top 4 of Mortal Kombat Asia Pacific Championships (MKAC), held at South East Asia Majors. The winner of the SEAM event will be flown to Las Vegas to compete in Mortal Kombat X at EVO World Championships.

Four qualifiers will be held in Singapore, Philippines, Australia and Thailand, to determine the final four Kombatants who will battle it out at South East Asia Major in Bangkok, Thailand, to decide who will be Asia Pacific’s Mortal Kombat™ X Champion for 2015.

Today we are announcing the first list of confirmed games for BAM7. Battle Arena Melbourne will return on May 22, 23 and 24 at CQ Functions, 123 Queen St Melbourne. This is promising to be the biggest BAM yet, as we are expanding the floorspace to take over the entire venue with all three function room spaces.
