Couchwarriors are proud to announce our Nintendo Play Area, thanks to NintendoAUNZ and Madman, We’ll have competitive and casual play for Splatoon 2 and Pokkén Tournament DX, as well as some casual setups!
The Nintendo play area will be impossible to miss with a beautiful booth build themed to the games. Expect to see more team ups with CouchWarriors, Madman and Nintendo at the upcoming Madman Anime Festival events!

Recently we announced Tekken World Tour coming to Australia and covered the top players from the international scene heading to Melbourne. Now, lets look at the top Australian players thanks to our Tekken TO, Abi Adegbola.
The main threats to the international from Australian soil come in the form of newly sponsored Kanga|ChandNY and Dee-On Grey. Both have won multiple Australian majors between them. Dee-On Grey has amassed a great amount of international experience travelling to various tournaments around the world and even placing top 16 at EVO 2016. Dee-On Grey

We’re pleased to announce that our annual major this year, Battle Arena Melbourne 10, will be a Master Event in the Tekken World Tour. As one of thirteen similar events in the full forty-event tour, finishing in the top 32 will see you earn ranking points towards qualification for the Tekken World Tour Finals, held this year in Amsterdam.

Australian esports fans will be spoiled by the presence of three of the greatest of all time players when BAM, our biggest fighting game event returns May 18-20.
Current EVO World champions in three major titles will each be attending #BAM10.
Remember to Register early for BAM10! Platinum level tournaments rego will cut off strictly on May 13. The clock is ticking and you don’t want to miss what’s in store.
This includes SFV, Tekken, DBFZ and ALL Smash tournaments. This allows us to provide a better tournament experience, particularly as these games all start Saturday morning. Make sure you have your registration in and don’t let your friends let it slide!
Capcom Pro Tour, Tekken World Tour, the first major Dragon Ball FighterZ event in Australia, plus Armada for Melee and the biggest Smash4 event yet, it’s all on the line.
Venue registration is still only $50 but goes up to $60 on May 6, and $70 on May 18 (day of BAM10). However, you will NOT be able to register for the above games. All other games (Gold and Silver) will allow registration up to an hour before.
